Guster's Lost and Gone Forever - 10 Year Anniversary Poster

This past weekend has been a mass of chaos, starting on Friday! Drove off to school to survive a wonderful day of Halloween dress up at school.  Then off to coach the JV football team to a monumental 30-6 win over a visiting Bucks county school.  After the win, I was back in the car for a 3 hour drive south to Washington, D.C. to witness the 10 year anniversary of Guster’s Lost and Gone Forever album at the 9:30 Club!

I literally arrived just in time for the opening of the band. They played a mixture of new music and some classics from other albums besides the honored album of the evening! Some of the best that they played that evening Demons, Two Points for Honesty, Satellite, G Major (I think), Manifest Destiny, The Captain, The Beginning of the End, Hang On, Airport Song, Jesus on the Radio, and others. I’ve been trying to find the setlist and I just don’t seem to be able to find it anywhere! What I did find was that Ryan Miller, lead singer of Guster who is on Twitter by the way @guster said of the show, which included a variety of different instrumentalists, and even a children’s choir from a nearby suburban school, that the audience was epic!!! We might even appear on a Live DVD!!! I hope so that would be awesome! Here are some photos from the epic show:

After the concert, back in the car for a three hour ride back home. Got into bed at 2:00 AM and then roughly awakened to drive to the Mountains to pack and move my grandfather!!! So much to do in such a small amount of time.  Highlight of the trip though, I did crack a safe!? How weird is that!? Grandfather is packed and now on his way to Florida.  and I am safely sitting at home getting ready for the Phils to play game 4 of the World Series!!!
